Baja 1000 Hits Shelves, Despite Lawsuit

Despite an ongoing copyright lawsuit over the cover art of Baja 1000: Score International, the game has been allowed to reach retail shelves.

As we reported last month, the cover for the title bears an uncanny similarity to THQ’s Baja: Edge of Control — a similarity which lead to THQ suing publisher Activision Blizzard on copyright grounds.

A U.S. District Court judge has ruled that "the hardship to plaintiff (THQ) is unclear, as Plaintiff has presented no evidence of hardship."
