Red Baron Taking Off On PlayStation Network

Arcade air combat game scheduled to arrived September 18.

If Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge and Warhawk have taught us anything, it’s that there’s always room for aerial shooters, and Sierra Online is happy to oblige fans with the upcoming PlayStation Network revival of the classic PC flight simulator Red Baron.

Set during heyday of World War I air combat, Red Baron will either be able to take on historical aces in a bid to rise to the top of the Baron’s Squadron, or taken on the best pilots the Internet has to offer via Death Match, Team Deathmatch and Capture the Flag modes. We don’t know about you, but we’ve been looking forward to settling accounts with those jerks Roy Brown and Eddie Rickenbacker for a while now.
