Bikes Pack for Burnout Paradise in Final Testing

Date August 26, 2008

Free update to hit PS3 and 360 simultaneously with motorcycles and a whole lot more.

Criterion producer Jeremy Chubb has outlined the company’s plans for the eagerly anticipated update that brings motorcycles to Burnout: Paradise. Along with introducing the FV1100 street bike and the Nakamura Firehawk V4 racing bike, the Bikes Pack, which is currently in its final phase of testing, promises another 9-10 hours of gameplay. A big chunk of that time will be spent facing 70 new Freeburn Challenges, half of which are the relaxed, free roaming sort, while the other half are timed, multipart challenges like testing how long you can ride a wheelie. The city map also gets refreshed for this update with 38 Burning Rides for timed races through traffic. All 64 streets will also now show a fast time to beat for bikes as well as cars.
