While reading a space exploration article and viewing the accompanying photograph, the idea that 'self learners' might also find this kind of thing interesting, surfaced and became the motivation to create this site/blog. Soon, more interesting categories, besides Space Exploration, were added.

Therefore, it was  set up to provide interesting science and technology information, which could support, or maybe inspire young people toward their self determined interests.

Created originally as an add-on to the ‘Learning Freely’ site, It kept expanding eventually requiring it's own space and domain name which became ok4me2.net

ok4me2 offers instant access to carefully selected News articles and related images. It does this by providing a large excerpt of each article with a photograph linked to the full article, at it's source.

As for the "me" in ok4me2, I am Kent Eaton, a learning consultant and a long time advocate of free learning environments , as an alternative to compulsory, forced schooling.
